  Our History

  Since 1905, Parkside Chapels & Cremation Services, Kowske-Wolowiec Funeral Directors, Inc. have provided families in the Chicagoland area with the very best in services and facilities. If your family prefers a traditional service with the comfortable atmosphere of our funeral home, you will find it with us. If a more casual service in an intimate setting is preferred, you will find that too. Whatever your wishes, they can be fulfilled in a way which creates a truly memorable service and offers real comfort for family and friends.

    Teresa joined our firm in October of 2009 and has been a great help ever since. In addition to English she is fluent in Polish and Spanish. Because of her ability to speak several languages she is able to provide an enhanced level of customer service for the families who don’t speak English as their primary language. Teresa’s multilingual skills and her first-hand knowledge of culture and customs of both Poland and Mexico help the families incorporate those customs to the memorial service and also prove particularly valuable when the funeral arrangements involve international shipping and/ or services in other countries.
    
    In addition to helping us care for our families, Teresa assists with the clerical duties.
