age 72, of Coloma, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 12, 2025. Alan was a straight forward man who lived by his beliefs and stood firmly by them. He valued honesty, hard work and doing things the right way. He was defined by his deep love for his family and his unwavering willingness to help others. He found joy in the simple, meaningful things in life - especially his passion for Michigan, building his home and the quiet satisfaction of planting evergreens, leaving behind living reminders of his care for the land.
Alan will be remembered for his quiet strength, his dependability, and the way he consistently showed up for the people who mattered to him. His legacy lives on in his family that he cherished so deeply.
Family and Loved Ones
Alan was the beloved husband of Linda M. Hickey for 24 wonderful years, building a beautiful blended family together.
He was a loving father to four children and their spouses:

Personal Life and Passions
Alan was a proud member of the NRA and held a special place in his heart for his cherished home in Coloma, Michigan, where he enjoyed spending time. He could often be found listening to his favorite music or pursuing one of his many projects, always finding something to repair or improve. His dedication to his family and his steadfast independence defined his character.

Alan was the dear son of the late George and the late Dorothy (née Brown) Baudler.
He was the dear brother of:

Russell (Brenda) Baudler
Alan was a loved son-in-law to Jean (late James) Hickey and a dear brother-in-law to:

Cheryl (John Dietel) Hickey
The late Patrick Hickey
Alan will be deeply missed by his devoted wife, his children, his grandchildren, and his extended family and friends.
