Age 92, of Archer Heights, Chicago, and born in Monterey, Mexico, she passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Juan A. Salazar, Sr., she was a devoted mother to Joseph G. (Lori) Salazar, Martha E. (late Martin) Rubio, Patricia A. Mejia, Juan A. (Linda) Salazar, Jr., and Francisco J. (Anna Cano) Salazar.
She was the cherished grandmother of 14 grandchildren and the proud great-grandmother of 9 great-grandchildren.
Daughter of the late Raymundo and the late Francisca (née Gonzalez) Caballero, she carried with her a strong heritage, a warm heart, and a deep love for her family.
She was a dedicated and longtime employee of Brach’s Candy Company, where she formed many lasting friendships and was respected for her hard work and cheerful spirit.
She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and unwavering love for those around her. Her legacy lives on in the generations she leaves behind.
