George E. Cerveny, Sr.

George “Papa” Cerveny, Sr., age 76, died July 8, 2020 at home surrounded by his loving family. A Lifelong Chicagoan, he worked 38 years as a machinist/platter at North Star Aerospace. He loved to people watch, shopping for “odds and ends”, and to predict the weather, especially when storms are brewing.

He is survived by his children George E. (Charmaine) Cerveny, Jr., CPD, Theresa M. (Keith) Bischoff, CPD, and Christina M. (Michael) Pluta.

Cherished papa of Rebecca, Christopher, Stephanie, Joshua, Kaitlyn, Thomas, and great-grandfather of Roselynn. 

Beloved son of the late James and Margaret (Healy) Cerveny. 

Adoring brother of the late James Cerveny, 

Mary (Danny) Patrick, Charles Cerveny, Blanche Cerveny, and late Kathy Cerveny.
