Reginald Taliaferro was born on September 8, 1934 in Brownsville, TN to the parents of Ernest and Callie Taliaferro. He was the fourth child born to this union. As a young man Reginald migrated to Chicago, IL. Reginald started his work career at Martin Oil Corporation as a Gas Station Attendant. Reginald worked for Martin Oil Corp. fifteen plus years in various leadership roles. Reginald furthered his career with Gulf Oil Company, wherein he continued to thrive in the industry. Reginald would later partner with his brother Joseph as owners of several gas stations. Due to the change of the gas station industry moving into a self–service model, Reginald and Joseph were forced to close their stations. Reginald returned to the workforce and was employed by National Can Company. He remained there over fifteen years until his retirement.
During Reginald’s early years, he was blessed with his first child, a daughter, Regina Taliaferro. In Reginald’s prime while working and enjoying life, he met and married his soulmate, Cammie. During this union a son was born, Talion Taliaferro.
Reginald spent the rest of his years enjoying life.
Reginald made his transition to eternal life on Wednesday, July 28, 2021. His beloved wife Cammie Taliaferro, and daughter Regina Taliaferro, preceded him in death.
Reginald leaves to cherish his love, affection, and memories: one child: Talion Taliaferro; two grandchildren: Talion J. Taliaferro and Taquera C. Taliaferro; one brother: Joseph Taliaferro; two sisters-in-law: Carol Taliaferro; Patricia Dantzler; three brothers-in-law: Jimmy James, Sherman James, and C.J., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
