age 90, beloved husband of Rosemary nee Hannon, devoted father of Michael (Karin), late Karen, Linda (Thomas) Magee, and Robert (Mona) Konrath, proud grandfather of 11, great-grandfather of two, dearest son of the late Gottfried and late Theresia nee Aspan, twin-brother to the late Sister Anne "Jeremy" Konrath, O.S.F and late Fred (Joanne) Konrath and brother to Raymond Konrath who he loved dearly. 'Uncle Rich' is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He met his "One True Love" Rosemary in 1958, was married on April 30th, 1960 and shared 65 years together in Chicago and (most recently) Villa Park, IL. Rich previously worked for the Archdiocese of Chicago at St. Mary's and Queen of Heaven Cemeteries and retired in 1997 after 46 years of service. He also served in the Army during the mid-1950s, was very patriotic his entire life, always kept his deep faith in the Lord and the Catholic Church and loved his entire family more than anything. Rich also was a proud and active member of SEIU.
