Age 82, Born in Chicago, IL, Ronald Lyzniak peacefully passed away in Mesa, AZ, on December 23, 2024.
Husband to Diane Lyzniak and the late Donna Jean Lyzniak (née Baumhardt). He was a loving father to his daughter Stacey (Kevin Sadowski, Ret. CPD) and the late Ronald Lyzniak Jr. and grandfather to Amanda Sadowski.
Ronald was the beloved son of the late Edward John Lyzniak and the late Lorraine Barbara (née Wittke), and the dear brother of Audrey (Edward “Butch”) Lerch; uncle of Susan Hanson, John, Lisa and the late Thomas Lerch.
A proud U.S. Air Force veteran, Ronald served his country with honor for two ½ years.
Inurnment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W. Hoff Rd., Elwood, IL. 60421 on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.
A lifelong Lutheran, Ronald was a longtime member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Garfield Ridge, Chicago. He will be remembered for his warmth, humor, and unwavering love for his family.
